Our Story

Poverty is real.

It’s a harsh reality for countless families struggling to make ends meet.
Every day, we bear witness to the tragic stories of families who cannot afford the most basic necessities. We see parents who send their children off to school with empty stomachs and heavy hearts.

And we change their story.

We assist thousands of financially struggling families in an exceptionally smart, respectful and dignified approach. We provide food packages and electronic cards which can be seamlessly swiped in local groceries for basic food items.

But we don’t stop there. Ahavas Chesed extends to empowerment.

We equip individuals with the tools and resources to break free from poverty. Through education, financial coaching and job placement assistance, we empower our recipients to build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Our Mission

We’re here to fund financially struggling families in a respectful manner and, in the long-run, empower them to be self-sufficient.

See How

“Piece number 7.”

My father came home with just one slice of bread for all 7 of us and I got a piece. I knew I should be happy with my portion but deep inside my pitted stomach groaned and my heart ached.

Today my father comes home with a salary.

Ahavas Chesed stepped in, and our home is vibrant, pantries are stocked and we’re no longer on the receiving end.
